Covid-19 Resources

We have gathered together a number of resources relating to the Covid-19 pandemic in various languages and will be sharing them here. We will update this page as more resources become available.


Written and audio translations of NHS and WHO advice in several refugee languages.

Languages available: English, Tigrinya, Farsi, Albanian, Arabic, Kurmanji, Sorani, Vietnamese, and Pashto.


NHS guidance on Covid-19 symptoms, how to self-isolate and how to contact the NHS in 49 languages.

Up to date information on who needs to wear a face mask and how to put on a face mask correctly.

GYROS are providing support remotely through phone, email and Social Media. If you are working/supporting any individuals or families who do not have English as a first language, need support with language/cultural barriers or need immigration informed advice- get in contact with them.

Their website has explanations of their service offer and contact information in multiple languages, including: Romanian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Italian, Indonesian and Tetum.


Roma Support Group have collated resources for the Roma community relating to Covid-19, these include general information and videos explaining social distancing and government advice.

Languages available: Romanian Romanes dialect, Slovak Romanes dialect, Romanian, and Slovak.


Suffolk Constabulary's explanation of the most recent UK government advice on staying at home.

Languages available: Arabic, English, Kurdish, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Bulgarian, Chinese.


Suffolk County Council and Anglia Care Trust's 24-hour Domestic Abuse Helpline offers support to anyone experiencing, or at risk of, domestic abuse. Call 0800 977 5690

Languages available: English, Arabic, French, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish.


Suffolk Parent Carer Network have put together a family support pack of containing details of organisations offering support and various online resources. They have also worked in partnership with SENsational Families to put together a mix of resources to keep children and young people occupied at home.

The resources are currently only available in English, but the family support pack is available as a digital or print copy.
