What is The Big Give Christmas Appeal? The Big Give Christmas Appeal is an annual fundraising campaign where donations made during a specific period are doubled by match funding. This means your contributions can have twice the impact!
What are Pledges? Pledges are promises of funding that are used to double donations made to us during the live campaign. They are crucial as they form the pool of funds that match the public's donations, maximising the impact of every contribution.
Why Are Pledges Important? Pledges are essential for our campaign's success. They ensure that every donation made during the live campaign can be matched, effectively doubling the support we receive. This significantly enhances our ability to reach our fundraising target.
How Can You Help? At this stage, we are looking for pledges of £100 or more. These pledges do not need to be paid until the end of the year, but we need to collect them now to meet our target of £2,500 in pledges by the 7th of September 2025.

ICM is an award-winning charity that works in the heart of Westgate Ward, an area that grapples with significant deprivation and challenges, and ranks among the most deprived areas in the UK.
Every year, ICM offers over 10,000 participations working with refugees, migrants, and young people in our Ipswich community. Our mission is to challenge inequality by empowering people to transform their lives through learning and creativity.
Every week we:

Teach English to over 230 refugees and migrants from a mix of over 24 different nationalities
-
Reach over 60 children and young people through our creative projects
-
Support over 30 volunteers in our classrooms and studios
But to continue offering such services for free, ICM needs to raise vital funds.
