Arriving on site:
When arriving on site please come to reception (door to the left on ground floor). There is step free access into reception and there is a separate step free access round the side of the building. In warm weather we have the reception door open so should see you as you arrive, however feel free to call ahead if you want to double check we can have someone to meet you.
IO Radio:
We currently have step free access to two of our radio studios, the other has two small steps as you pass through two doorways. Studio 3 is fully wheelchair accessible, however if you have any queries about the space please give us a call.
Ipswich Community Media Offices:
Both our offices are located on the first floor, to access them there is a small step in the doorway and a staircase with 11 steps (with a handrail). Unfortunately there is no step free access to the first floor offices but if you call ahead we would be happy to facilitate a meeting in one of the downstairs, step free, spaces.
The Smokehouse:
Most of our workshops, as well as gigs in the evening, are held in the smokehouse building. The main entrance has one small step in the doorway. There is also a fully accessible ramped entrance at the back of the space, but you may have to ask a member of staff to open the door for you as it is a fire door so kept shut.
Toilets:
The office bathrooms are both gender neutral and single stall. The ground floor bathrooms in the smokehouse are also gender neutral and multi-stall. We also have an accessible bathroom located next to the courtyard. The bathroom is accessed with a Radar key, just ask a member of staff and they should be able to get it for you.

By car:
There is a public car park next to the venue with accessible car parking spots.
By bus:
The closest bus stop is South Street, right next to south street studios. The next closest are Granville Street, and Barrack Corner, both within 300m.
By train:
The closest train station is Ipswich (Burrell Road), 0.8 miles away (20 minute walk up and down-hill, or 6 minutes by car/taxi).

Office and teaching room:
Both our office and teaching room are located on the ground floor and have step free access. A portion of our teaching is done through writing on a whiteboard and a projected screen, but we are happy to find an alternative method if needed.
Toilets:
We have one single stall gender neutral bathroom.

By car:
There is no car park attached to our premises, the closest public car parks are South Street Car Park, Crown Car Park, and Spiral Car Park. All of which are approximately a 6 minute walk away.
By bus:
The closest bus stops are Barrack Corner, Wolsey Theatre, and St Matthew’s Street Adjacent Ipswich Furniture Project. These are all approximately 2 minutes walk away.
By train:
The closest train station is Ipswich (Burrell Road), 0.8 miles away (20 minute walk up and down-hill, or 6 minutes by car/taxi).
