MATERNITY PROJECT

Thanks to funding from our local NHS, our Maternity Project is engaging migrant women living in Ipswich with the aim to increase connection, communication and engagement, while building trust in local maternity and health services.

The project offers Community Antenatal Classes and Parenting Together social sessions, providing a welcoming and supportive environment where families can access reliable information, build confidence, and connect with others in their local community.

All of our sessions are completely FREE to attend.

We are also working closely with local healthcare professionals and community organisations to strengthen relationships between families and maternity services, helping parents feel informed, supported, and confident throughout their journey into parenthood.

For more information contact mpuchala@ipswichcm.org.uk

The sessions were incredibly useful, informative, and reassuring. They provided me with so much knowledge and confidence throughout my pregnancy. Monika explained everything clearly and patiently, making even complex topics easy to understand. Thanks to her guidance, I feel much more prepared for labour, birth, and caring for my baby.
