Learning with the Integration Team

ICM does more than teach English, they teach love to others. I feel privileged to belong to the ICM family.

Our Courses

Our Integration Team runs over 12 classes to over 220 learners every week

Many of our learners stay with us for years and then go on to volunteer in the classroom or become one of our award winning Community Champions.

Alongside our ESOL classes we can offer free qualified Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) around a range of issues from settled status to housing to wellbeing support.

Our friendly team is mostly made up of migrants from a range of diverse backgrounds. Each member of our team is highly skilled and has extensive experience working with different communities.

Our award winning Community Champions are an integral and invaluable part of ICM.  Comprising over 10 nationalities from different ethnic backgrounds – economic migrants, refugees or asylum seekers – their desire to give something back to their community is what unites them all.

Many of the Community Champions are current or previous ESOL learners. As Community Champions they volunteer in their local communities, helping neighbours, offering friendship and connection and even working with local GP surgeries to translate Covid-19 advice and acting as interpreters at medical appointments.
