Looking for a way to make a difference in your community? Why not volunteer with our Integration Team!
"Volunteering has given me the opportunity to meet new people, socialise and get out of the house. It’s the best thing in my life." -Isha, Community Champion
We're looking for volunteers who can assist with our evening ESOL classes. The sessions run every Wednesday and Thursday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
In this role you will communicate with people from a wide range of different backgrounds, and gain experience in teaching by supporting our tutors in the classroom.
"Volunteering has made me more confident and helped my mental health. When I am in class I forget about my children’s noise. I am happy when I am helping people. My learning is improved when I teach other people. I listen to people and try to do my best to help my community. When I can’t solve a situation I ask for help from others."
-Signalda, Volunteer
We believe that anyone can be a volunteer no matter who they are or where they come from, and most importantly, volunteering with ICM is a two way street. We aim to make sure our volunteers get as much out of the experience as the people and communities they help. Through volunteering we can help you to boost your CV, meet people and make new friends, increase your confidence and people skills, be part of a team, learn new skills, and much more!
